In the production scenarios of Via in industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical aesthetics, and biological reagents, the sealing effect of the locking machine directly determines the product qualification rate - leakage, loose cap, tilted cap, and non-sealing will not only cause material waste but also may affect the sterility of the product, making it impossible to pass the GMP inspection.
Many customers encounter sealing problems. They either blindly adjust the equipment or directly contact the after-sales service, which delays production.
Today, based on years of equipment debugging experience, we will clearly explain the core reasons and practical debugging methods for the non-sealing and poor sealing effect of the Vial Capping machine. Novices can quickly master it without the need for professional technicians.
Vial Capping Machine
First, clarify the core pain point: the sealing effect of the Vial locking machine is not good. 90% of the problems are concentrated in the three categories of "equipment parameter mismatch", "cap/bottle cap specifications do not match", and "mechanical component offset". There is no need to blindly replace the equipment. Precise debugging can solve the problem, saving costs and not delaying production.
 
Step 1: Check the basic problems to avoid ineffective debugging (the most easily overlooked).
First, check if the specifications of the Vial, rubber stopper, and aluminum cap are uniform. If the bottle body is irregular, the size of the rubber stopper is too small, or the thickness of the aluminum cap is uneven, even if the equipment is debugged properly, there will still be a non-sealing problem.
At the same time, check if the rubber stopper is fully pressed in (you can use a vacuum insertion machine to ensure precise pressing). If the rubber stopper is not fully embedded in the bottle mouth, there will be a gap after locking the cap, causing leakage.
After eliminating these problems, proceed with equipment debugging.
 
Step 2: Calibrate mechanical alignment to solve tilted cap and sealing deviation.
If there is tilted cap, aluminum cap wrinkling, or uneven sealing, it is likely that the alignment of the locking head and the bottle mouth is offset.
Turn off the equipment power, adjust the height of the locking head to ensure that the locking head is vertically aligned with the Vial mouth without any offset;at the same time, check the speed of the conveyor belt to ensure that the conveyor belt and the locking head have the same speed to avoid the syringe body moving and causing the locking to be misaligned.
After debugging, test the locking. If there is still tilted cap, adjust the angle of the locking head slightly until the sealing is flat and without offset.
 
Step 3: Daily maintenance to avoid repeated sealing problems.
Many customers after debugging, still encounter sealing faults in the short term. The core issue is that they ignore daily maintenance.
It is recommended to check the locking head, spring,of the Vial locking machine for looseness before starting each day's operation, and tighten them in time;
regularly clean the locking head to avoid residual materials and dust affecting the sealing accuracy;
 
Additional reminder: If the sealing problem still cannot be solved after debugging, it is likely that the equipment components are worn (such as aging locking head, insufficient spring elasticity). It is recommended to contact the original factory after-sales service to replace the compatible components to avoid damaging the equipment due to disassembly.
In addition, choosing syringe bottle locking machines that comply with GMP standards (such as 316L stainless steel material) can reduce component wear and improve sealing stability, reducing the frequency of debugging from the root cause.
